I’m a graphic designer specializing in building brand identities that stand out. I’m passionate about creative problem-solving, taking ideas from concept to completion, and crafting visuals that tell a compelling story. The “a-ha!” moment of turning small ideas into bold brand identities is why I do what I do. A bit more about me…
I’ve been interested in art since I was a kid. My mom studied art in college, so from a young age, I was inspired to be creative. I drew all the time and developed a love for graffiti in middle school, always doodling different words or characters in my notebooks. One of my favorites was “Wildboyz” (like the MTV show)—a nickname a few of my friends and I gave ourselves…which is hilarious because the one time I had a chance to “tag” my name on a stop sign (in Sharpie, no less), I chickened out. So wild.
Anyway, my love of graphic design specifically started in high school. I was lucky enough to attend a school specializing in arts and communications, really fostering a creative environment for its students. I quickly fell in love with graphic design when I took Visual Communications in my sophomore year. I had never thought of art in a problem-solving way, and math was always one of my favorite subjects, so being able to combine the two was right up my alley. From there, I was hooked.
I received my BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing from The College of New Jersey, working and interning at a print shop and a streetwear brand along the way. I began my graphic design career at a New York City advertising agency in 2014, working mostly with clients in the live entertainment space. We were a relatively small team, so I learned A LOT quickly and in a very hands-on way. I went out on my own in 2020 and officially started McCauslin Creative in April 2021. Since then, I’ve been providing graphic design services to businesses of all shapes and sizes.
